School Clubs

We have a range of dinner time and after school clubs running in School ie. Junior and Infant Dance, Junior Choir, Infant Choir, Drumming, Cookery, Football, Netball, Snooker and Art.

There is a school

Breakfast Club (runs from 8.00 am till 8.45 am) available and an

After-School Activity Clubs (run from 3.15 pm till 5.30 pm)

St. Hugh’s Drumming Group, ‘Samba Rhythm’, consists of 12 children from years 5 and 6.  We meet for rehearsal every Thursday lunch time and take part in a range of events throughout the school year, including the the Lincoln Music and Drama Festival and a variety of performances in the summer months.  In July 2013 the drumming group, alongside our school dancers, performed a flash mob in Lincoln to support FairTrade (See YouTube link below).  We play a range of Brazilian Samba music, enjoying the ‘Samba Rhythm’!

Rehearsal times are 1:00 – 1:40pm every Thursday.

St. Hugh’s Junior Choir consists of 50 children from the junior classes.  We meet for rehearsal every Wednesday after school and take part in a range of events throughout the school year, including the Lincolnshire Co-operative Carol Service, the Joint Catholic School’s Advent Service, the Lincoln Music and Drama Festival and local Birchwood schools summer concert to name but a few.  We pride ourselves on our singing and enjoy performing a varied repertoire throughout the year, from classical to modern music.

Rehearsal times are currently 3:15 – 4:30pm every Wednesday.
